Sergio Artiaco, the Maître d’, is a competent patron for his mixed clientele. He has been trained all over the world therefore has gained a very special sensitiveness for the handling with his international guests. However the last two stops for him have been the most important: a 5-Star-Hotel in St. Moritz (Switzerland) and the “Tantris“ in Munich.

1992 together with Cosimo “Mimmo“ Ruggiero he opened the fashionable Restaurant “La Vigna“ . Already 3 years after the opening they gained one “Michelin“ star as the first Italian restaurant in Munich.

Mimmo Ruggiero is now Chef de Cuisine in the “Hippocampus“ and at the helm almost every day. He also has been trained all over the world, for example at Eckart Witzigmann’s “Aubergine“ and at the „Schweizer Stuben“ in Wertheim-Bettingen and he is really an expert of his profession.
